# Cline — tools that shaped CodeVetter

Planning and acting benefit from a visible boundary.

## What we admire

Cline’s Plan and Act workflow makes a consequential transition clear: first understand the task, then change code and run tools. That is a helpful reference for communicating what an agent is doing.

## The principle that stayed

A plan is useful evidence of intent, but it does not verify the implementation. The final check still has to inspect what changed and what actually ran.

## Where CodeVetter stands

CodeVetter records the task and exact agent change before executable verification. Cline is one of the coding-agent workflows we studied, not a bundled runtime.
