CodeQL is a strong example of asking precise questions over a structured representation of code. Its query libraries show how much depth a specialized security analyzer can provide.

## The principle that stayed

Extraction and query scope are part of the result. A deep analyzer is valuable when its language support, database state, and findings can be connected to the exact change under review.

## Where CodeVetter stands

We evaluated CodeQL and parked a direct integration for a security-focused need. CodeVetter’s local graph is narrower and its verdict remains grounded in the checks actually run.
