# CodeRabbit — tools that shaped CodeVetter

Review is more useful when it arrives in the developer’s normal change workflow.

## What we admire

CodeRabbit helped make automated, context-aware PR feedback a familiar part of the review cycle. Its summaries, inline comments, and developer-facing explanations show the value of giving findings a clear place to be acted on.

## The principle that stayed

Delivery and presentation matter, but a review comment is still a hypothesis until someone can reproduce the underlying problem. Review volume alone is not a quality metric.

## Where CodeVetter stands

We studied CodeRabbit as a baseline for agent-written PRs. CodeVetter keeps its verification local and records reproduced, unchecked, and failed states explicitly; the public synthetic corpus does not prove superiority on production PRs.
