# DeepWiki — tools that shaped CodeVetter

A repository can be made legible quickly through structured explanation.

## What we admire

DeepWiki turned public repository exploration into a low-friction experience: enter a repo and get navigable explanations and diagrams. That feeling of a codebase becoming understandable was a strong reference for Repo Unpack.

## The principle that stayed

Generated explanations are useful entry points, especially for unfamiliar repos. They need direct links back to files and a clear freshness boundary before someone relies on them for a technical decision.

## Where CodeVetter stands

Repo Unpack publishes source-linked, pinned-commit artifacts and labels inferences. CodeVetter does not claim that generated prose proves behavior, and it does not depend on DeepWiki.
