# Gemini CLI — tools that shaped CodeVetter

A terminal agent can keep planning, tools, and code changes in one inspectable loop.

## What we admire

Gemini CLI’s open terminal workflow was part of our survey of agent tools. It illustrates how a developer can combine a large-context model with local search and controlled tool use.

## The principle that stayed

A context window is not a substitute for proving the changed behavior. The verifier needs explicit tests, exact source state, and the limitations of the run.

## Where CodeVetter stands

CodeVetter can verify changes made by terminal agents without adopting their internal planning model. Gemini CLI was studied as an agent workflow, not made a required companion.
