# GitHub Copilot code review — tools that shaped CodeVetter

A code host can make automated review a normal request on a pull request.

## What we admire

Copilot code review is a useful mainstream baseline: a developer can ask for review in the same place they inspect a PR and act on suggestions without learning a separate system.

## The principle that stayed

Convenience makes review more likely to happen. It does not establish whether a suggestion describes a reproducible failure, so benchmark comparisons must count real findings and false positives.

## Where CodeVetter stands

CodeVetter’s benchmark and verification bundle make evidence and scoring inspectable outside a code host. We have not claimed a production catch-rate win against Copilot code review.
